Kenya

If your child is at a Bridge school in Kenya, then their lessons will have been interrupted because schools are temporarily closed.

It’s really important that children continue to learn and grow until schools reopen. We want to support our families and make sure that learning is disrupted as little as possible. As such, we suggest that you follow this weekly activity plan with the children in your home.

The weekly activity plan has the following daily activity for every grade:

  • Vocabulary to learn
  • An activity to practice
  • Maths questions to answer
  • A storybook to read

Instructions: Each day with your child, complete the learning activities for every subject. For daily reading practice, download the story from African Story Book app and ask your child to read. Then, ask your child to complete the homework assignment. Use the answer key to review their answers and provide feedback.

There will be a new lesson plan available every week for every grade in our Kenyan academies.

If we keep working together, we can keep children learning.
