Pupil in Liberia
Meet Cecelia Williams, an excitable pupil at Nikpachilu Public School.
Her school recently became part of the Liberian Education Advancement Program (LEAP; formerly Partnership Schools for Liberia) a radical government initiative to improve the quality of public schools in Liberia. Through LEAP, Cecelia’s school has been able to provide all pupils with new uniforms and textbooks. The school has also been introduced new technologies, helping lessons to become more fun and engaging for pupils like her.
Cecelia says that she aspires to become an entrepreneur when she grows up. To help with this, she has started to sell peanuts on campus to other pupils. With help from her teachers, Cecelia believes that she’s receiving a good education. This will definitely help her to realise her entrepreneurial dreams in the future!
