Pupil in Liberia
Meet Deddeh Beyan, a Grade Six student at Weakama Public School in Bomi County, west Liberia.
Deddeh is wearing a hat because she’s one of the students leading the annual celebrations at her school, where students commemorate another year of education!
She’s a very dedicated student. She says she loves writing and maths, and hopes to be a nurse in the future.
Weakama Public School only goes up to Grade Six, so Deddeh is making plans for her next step. However, she’s loved her time at her Bridge-supported LEAP school and thinks it’s set her up for a great future!
